The ECG Quiz User Manual

You enter your diagnoses using the two text boxes beneath the ECG.

• The left text box contains the available diagnoses, the list of all of the available diagnoses appropriate for the type of ECG presented.
• The right text box will contain the selected diagnoses, the diagnoses you select for the presented ECG.

To add a diagnosis from the available diagnoses list to the selected diagnoses list, either double click on it or click on it and drag it to the selected diagnoses list.

After selecting Sinus Tachycardia and Premature Ventricular Complex(es), the diagnosis selection boxes look like this:

If you want to remove a diagnosis from the selected diagnoses list, either double click on it or click on it and drag it to the available diagnoses list. You can remove all selected diagnoses by clicking on the arrow button located in the upper right corner of the selected diagnoses list box.

Since the number of diagnoses in the available diagnoses list is large, you can search for a particular diagnosis. To search for a diagnosis, click on the magnifying glass located in the upper right corner of the available diagnoses list. A search box will be displayed in the rectangular area at the top of the available diagnoses list.

To search for a diagnosis, click in the search box and start typing your search term. When you type a sequence of letters, such as sinus or ventric, the available diagnoses list automatically updates to show only those diagnoses that contain the letters you typed. The selected diagnoses list will also automatically update to show only the diagnoses you already selected that contain the letters you typed into the search box.

After searching for sinus, the diagnosis selection boxes look like this:

When you are done searching, you can close the search box by clicking on the magnifying glass again. Both lists will automatically update to show all diagnoses present in the respective lists.

When you are ready to submit your reading, press the Submit Diagnosis button under the text boxes.
