This page describes the various controls available when viewing short data-based ECG samples, including 6-second telemetry strips, 10-second telemetry strips, and 12-lead diagnostic ECGs.
The toolbar for these samples is shown in Figure 1:
The following toolbar buttons toggle the activation of the calipers in the ECG display.
The
button toggles the time caliper control activation in the ECG display. When the time caliper is active, the button changes to an activated state
The
button toggles the voltage caliper control activation in the ECG display. When the voltage caliper is active, the button changes to an activated state
The following toolbar buttons control the display of patient and ECG information.
The
button displays patient demographics (age, sex, height, and weight) and clinical history in a popup window if this information is available for the ECG. Use your best clinical judgment when viewing this data as with actual clinical recordings. For example, if the patient's height is 17 inches for a 56-year-old patient, the height measurement was probably transposed from 71 inches. The button will be disabled if demographics and clinical history are not available.
If patient information is not available for the sample, the button will be disabled and look like this:
.
The
button displays data about the ECG, such as Ventricular Rate, PR interval, QRS width, etc. These data, if available, are automatically extracted from the ECG and are not guaranteed to be verified. Use your best clinical judgment when viewing this data as with actual clinical recordings. This button is only available on the Results page.
If ECG information is not available for the sample, the button will be disabled and look like this:
